MAUREEN O' TOOLE
For over two decades, I loved serving the citizens of the United States as an Army Reserve officer. My passion is helping individuals and organizations understand and use leadership and business skills to improve and reach their potential. In the government sector, I successfully applied positive leadership and strategic planning principles as an intelligence officer, a senior military instructor, unit commander, and executive officer. 21 years military experience provided tremendous depth in: analyzing and predicting organizational behavior, strategic and tactical problem solving, interagency operations, long and short-term organizational planning, time management, and staff development in stressful environments.

This is balanced by leadership and management skills in civilian jobs as an international business planner, technical writer, and small business owner. I can also help organizations with policy analysis and preparation, public affairs, staff management, training plan development and execution, human resources, and organizational development. My greatest service, however, is raising three amazing children.

TOM ALLEN
Beginning as a Military Air Traffic Controller, I have been blessed with the privilege of spending  professional life in public service. From both the Air Traffic Control and professional paramedic “field” perspective, time sensitive, high-stakes critical decision-making is practiced and tested every day and the outcomes need to be consistently superior. In both of these areas, I earned a reputation as a high-level performer. From the leadership perspective, the same learned practices and proven results can be taught to individuals and organizations with the same outcomes. I’ve spent most of my career educating and leading others on how to apply those principles - whether in a “crisis” incident or in applying effective decision-making to gain greater effectiveness and efficiency every day.

My passion is helping teams reach their potential by helping with: problem-solving and decision making, team building and restructuring,  regulatory and legislative research and negotiations, and long and short-term planning. My professional choices created opportunities to serve on numerous city, fire, and emergency medical service boards and councils, helping me see the interplay of city and state agencies concerning the development and execution of policies and practices concerning public safety in addition to service as a City Councilman and a Rural Fire District Commissioner. The most important position I’ve ever held, however, is as father to five incredible children.
