biography
Maureen O’Toole, a retired US Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, has 23 years of experience in public service. Maureen has successfully applied positive leadership and strategic planning principles in her military roles as an intelligence officer, a senior military instructor, unit commander, and executive officer. She honed leadership and management skills in civilian jobs as an office manager and business planner and in her many avenues of volunteer community service.
Maureen’s experience includes public affairs, journalism, staff management, human resources, tactical analysis and organizational structure analysis. Maureen’s core belief in the value of the individual has resulted in the integration of systems thinking and personality analysis in order to predict and enhance individual and organizational behaviors.
Passionate about education and the potential of today’s youth, Maureen provided private tutoring for children and adults in many subjects and taught private music lessons to over seventy students. After earning a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Maureen founded No Excuses Consulting.
With extensive experience in both business and education, she is able to help both young adults and young business professionals develop leadership and management skills through positive and challenging learning experiences. As both a youth leadership trainer and as a business consultant.
Maureen empowers people with the knowledge and tools needed to create positive change in their lives, their work, and in their communities.
